NJ should continue aiding solar farms

That's why the state Board of Public Utilities deserves credit for not just talking about alternative energy, but doing something to see that it is used.

Solar World: Another German firm jumps in
(Electronics Semiconductor ) German glass company SCHOTT entered the solar energy market this week with the dedication of its first major solar receiver factory in Mitterteich, Germany. The plant will make the tubes found in the center of solar thermal energy systems - enough for about three power plants per year, or 150 megawatts to 170 megawatts annually, the company's executive vice president for solar told United Press International.
