An Investment Bubble May be Emerging in Solar Energy
(PR Web ) Renewable energy is a hot topic, but with the number of start-ups and investors jumping on the solar power bandwagon, a bubble appears to be emerging. The good news is that there are other renewable energy segments currently leveraging MEMS and Nanotech-based solutions that offer equally exciting growth opportunities.
Solar power energizes Zambo community

Children checked out the clouds for signs of rain before deciding whether to head for school or stay home. When dark clouds obscured the sun in the Marcelo agrarian reform community classes were automatically suspended because schools did not have electricity.
Silicon is drying up as solar power rises
(Financial Times Deutschland) Fast growth in California's solar panel industry has forced up prices of a raw material also used by chipmakers. The faster growing solar panel industry is forecast to overtake the chip sector in the next five years in its use of silicon.
